Harter’s Quick Clean-up is currently in its fourth generation of catering to your trash removal needs. The company was founded in 1955 by Frank Harter. His son, Lloyd Harter, acquired the company in 1958. In 1994, the company was re-established by Gary Harter. Since that time, he and his children have been proudly serving La Crosse and the surrounding areas.
We offer residential trash and recycling collections services in the Greater Coulee Region. We work from Lanesboro, Mn to Ettrick and Melrose, Wi to Rockland Wi and to Saint Joseph Ridge and nearly everywhere in between. Harter’s also provides commercial and business trash and recycling collection. We work with everyone from mom and pop shops to the largest businesses in the La Crosse area. We also offer dumpster rental and roll off service. It doesn’t matter if you are a homeowner cleaning out the garage or a company doing a large construction project that requires multiple roll-offs emptied per day, we will work tirelessly to make sure you are 100% satisfied. We also have a drop off site in La Crosse, for those times when you want to get rid of your trash and recycling before your next collection day.

Moving Forward
In 2013 Harter’s Quick Clean Up moved into the 21st century of trash and recycling collection by completing our Material Recovery Facility (Green Circle Recycling, LLC). Green Circle Recycling, LLC uses cutting edge technology that has enabled Harter’s to greatly expand recycling collection practices. Harter’s is also turning our fleet of trucks from diesel to Compressed Natural Gas or CNG. CNG vehicles are more efficient to run and they are better for the environment. We have expanded our business to include Document Shredding (C-Cure-It) and Composting in an effort to be a one-stop source for all of your disposal needs!
